Who is Citzo ?

Of Bulgarian origin, Citzo studied drawing at the fine arts school in Veliko Tarnovo, before becoming a teacher of drawing himself.

A member of the neo-realism scene, Citzo became well known as a painter in his own country and exhibited widely (Sofia, Galro, Varna).

He admires artists such as Braque, Soutine and Vandongen, for whom he feels an affinity: their figurative paintings are standard reference works for him in terms of composition, form and colour.

Citzo has been established in France for five years.
